We love it!!
3/10/23. Two and 1/2 years later and we still use this thing every single night. Not a single issue. Still sounds great and looks like the day I got it. We take it with us on vacation and to nanas house for sleep overs. It remembers the settings even after being unplugged all day.My now diagnosed adhd 5 year old loves this thing. It helps slow her brain or distract it enough to fall asleep. We use the slow transitioning color option/mode. She loves it. My teen used it for the “fan” sound when on vacation one time and said it worked well for her too.I am so in love with this thing. My 3 year old stopped sleeping thru the night about 4-5 months ago and has had trouble falling asleep for even longer. I’ve tried everything!! I bought this a week ago and she has slept thru the night, every night, since. She is staying in bed and not asking for a million things to delay going to sleep. She loves to watch the colors change and listening to the lullaby. She has fallen asleep within 20 minutes of getting in bed every night. This thing is a god send!! The colors are soft but vibrant. It’s bright enough to see around the room but not too bright to keep her awake. The sound quality is great, even turned up really loud. And it can go really loud!! I love that I can keep it on all night or set the timer for 1,2 or 3 hours. It also saves your last setting. So when we turn it on it’s already on the color mode and the lullaby she picked. It’s easy to use and pretty self explanatory. There are tons of sounds to choose from. And different variations of the sounds. It’s small and soft to the touch. The buttons feel like good quality. The cord is long enough to reach any nearby outlet. I feel like it’s good quality and should last a long time. If it doesn’t, I will come back and change my review. I researched a ton of these and read a million reviews. Hence the reason for my long review. I’m very happy with this one and extremely happy I didn’t splurge on a more expensive option. Overall a great buy.

Beautiful but not long lasting
I bought this for our guestroom, So it only gets intermittent use. It’s probably been used a total of 60-70 times in the past two years. During that time, it was great and worked well. Lots of Types of noise choices, as well as different pitches of noise choice. So that’s cool. But for the past few months a.k.a. the last half a dozen uses, it does not turn on unless you unplug it from the back and plug it back in and then turn it back on. It wouldn’t bother me so much for myself, but guests think it does not work at all unless I go through the updated usage directions. So I’ll be replacing it. I think I’ll try another brand with the same cool wood look.

I’m all about water sounds & I was able to find one I liked. I’ll likely never change it to any of the other options because it works well to help me get to sleep (I have tinnitus & an anxious mind). It’s much better than the one I’m replacing it with.Likes:- clear sound- I wasn’t able to detect a loop in sound- 3 different timer options: 1hr/2hr/3hr or constant play- remembers last settings used- automatically shuts off once timer is up- can be used for just light, just sound, or both- found 1 sound that makes me happy, relaxed, & puts me to sleep- the turquoise blue light option is like light therapy… it makes me smile (& relaxed) because it reminds me of a childhood toy. I put it on while I’m getting ready for bed. Don’t underestimate the power of color. I almost didn’t go with this one because I didn’t think I’d use the light at all.- it’s made of plastic, but it doesn’t look or feel cheap like some of the other products on hereDislikes:- lowest volume setting isn’t low enough. I have it set on the lowest volume and the machine sits below the top of my mattress because my night stand is low, but I still have to face the speaker away from me and piled up some socks in front of it to reduce the volume to a more suitable level for me.- breathing light option was hard to get into sync with & it’s not something I’d use to fall asleep with because the brightness is enough to distract me from sleeping unless I was dead tired… I’m the type of person that has electrical tape on the appliance clocks because they shine into my bedroom. Could be useful if I wanted to try meditating though…- because it’s USB + wall adapter (included), the plug sticks out further than just a regular one would & I had to move my dresser to accommodate

Anyone who knows what I mean by the “loop” in some sound machines will be happy to know that with this one (at least as far as I can tell) you cannot hear the loops. I was surprised how few on Amazon offered that, or at least put it in their description.It has quite a few sounds to choose from although we really only found 2 or 3 that my wife and I could agree on. But I guess everyone has different tastes, so some of the once that we thought were terrible, someone else may really like.It has a good volume range and appears fairly well built given it’s price point. It’s compact enough to fit into luggage. If I were to nitpick, I wish the USB plugged into the side of the wall adapter instead of the back so that when I plug it into the wall it doesn’t stick out as far (it’s hard to fit the plug behind a dresser). But I just swapped it for another USB adapter.
