Great bedside lamp
I switched from LED strips to this and I love it. It lights up the room sufficiently, but I wish there was a brightness adjustment for the colors (it’s only for the white light). Keep in mind it’s a lot less bright than LED strips but that’s to be expected by something smaller. Very easy to set up and it’s an essential part of my room.

Inexpensive lamp that has simple options, does the job.
It comes in a plastic casing and a 5 feet USB cord. It has some color options but I do wish there was more customization such as controlling the rate and order of the cycle option. However, the colors are all comfortable and enjoyable to use. Especially now when it gets dark at 5 pm, it’s nice to have an ambient light. It is quite bright. For $13 dollars its honestly a nice product that seems sturdy and hopefully it will last me for a bit. It’s also small so I can use it on my desk or put it on my bed frame if I want to read.

Fun little light, with uber-low energy usage. The new lava-lamp.
I bought this on a whim, because it looked cool, and I picked it up for about $12 on sale. It was worth it. I use it mainly as mood lighting, with the option that smoothly transitions through several colors. However, it does have a steady-white-light option for those that want a night light. There are three levels of steady white light that one can select: 250 lumens, 125 lumens, or 3 lumens. The last would be like a traditional night-light. This is a direct current lamp. It comes with a power cord that plugs into a standard USB port (USB-A – the most common USB connection). This will work if you plug into: (1) your computer USB port, (2) Cell phone charging station, (3) portable battery pack, (4) extension cord or wall outlet with USB connectors. It operates on 5 Volts DC at 0.8 Amps. I translated that into AC wattage (assuming an efficiency factor), and if you use this at the highest setting (white light, 250 lumens) it is pulling less than 5 watts. It’s almost free to run all day long. An interesting thought about operating this on a portable battery pack (like the kind you can use with a laptop or phone) – this would be awesome in the case of a power-outage. A decent power pack could run this for days. I also considered taking it on easy (drive-in) camping trips. The same concept – the battery in my Sony bluetooth speaker could power this little lamp for an entire weekend – easily. It wouldn’t put out a ton of light (only 230 lumens), but that is more than enough when you need to find a can opener in the middle of a pitch black night on a table. All-in-all, a great little novelty, with some actual practical applications. I recommend it.

I love all the settings! many different colors to chose from, and the blended colors are my favorites. I use the settings with the changing colors when I am sitting around at night it’s kind of soothing, then when I sleep I use it as a night light on the blue and pink setting. It also has white light if you want to light up a desk a tiny bit. It’s not going to illuminate like a desk lamp, but it does light it up a bit. I really, really love it. Would buy it again for myself or a friend for sure.

Great light with one downside.
I like this light. It seems well built and the lights are good. Only downside is it would be nice if there was a mode button to switch between white light and color only. I use it for white light only and every time I want to switch between white light high, medium and low, after low I have to go through multiple colors in order to get back to high white again.

I really like this little lamp as a bedside lamp.It glows, rather than glares so it’s not harsh on the eyes, and the colours are nice. The white has a “bright” setting and a normal glow setting, so if you want a bright white, there is one.There’s also the usual colour cycle setting which can be nice sometimes too.It’s simple and intuitive to use… Tap once to turn on, tap again to change colours, tap and hold for a second or two to turn off. It turns back on where you left it.A downside – It would be lovely if this had a battery that would run it over a power cut or to hold memory, even a small one would have worked. But that’s not something it lists, so I knew this wasn’t a feature when I got it. If they make one that does though, I’ll get another!Hopefully, you find this review helpful.
