My daughter (10) asked for a galaxy light for her birthday. After searching for awhile we settled on this one because of the reviews and images.We were enamored and blown away when she first turned it on in our living room after opening it on her birthday. It transformed the whole room into the northern lights and a spectacular show of swirling colors. It was magical. We all suddenly found ourselves laying anywhere so we could enjoy the show together.What we didnât expect was how relaxing and soothing it is to lay beneath the projection as it softly illuminates the bedroom with the various white sounds you can choose from. My daughter falls asleep within minutes of it being on when normally she fidgets for awhile at bedtime.Settings:- There are a number of different ânorthern lightâ-esque settings and even combinations of colors you can choose to merge together. Thereâs also a setting that transitions between each of the color sets- Thereâs an option to add green âstarâ lights on top of the northern lights effect- There are about half a dozen white noise options including rain/water, crackling fire, lullaby music- You can adjust the brightness of the light from low to medium to high- You can set it on a timer for 1hr or 2hr to shut off on its own- A remote is included and is easy for a child to useOverall we were really impressed by the quality of this galaxy light and are eager to buy this as a gift for someone else too now that we know how fantastic it is.Highly recommend.

Very beautiful projector
We really enjoyed using the projector during meditation. It comes with several options to tailor the effects to the mood–fast moving lights or slow. Stars or no stars. Different color choices. Looks very nice projected onto the ceiling.

Beautiful, relaxing atmosphere
I purchased this light as a gift for my six-year-old grandson. When it arrive, I tested it out to make sure it would operate properly. I was very surprised at the quality of this light. It is very relaxing and gives a realistic display of northern lights. The photos I posted are using the green light only. There are options to use green, blue, white, and redâ alone or in any combination, and options for the star functions (fading in and out, on/off etc.). The quality of the actual light show is where this product excels.Shortcomings: It has the ability to play pre-recorded soundsâ I did not find these appealing. It has the ability to play the userâs own music via Bluetooth. I have not attempted to do this.The only reason I did not give this product the highest rating is due to the remote control issues. The remote simply does not respond as it should. I reviewed the instructions to make sure I was operating it correctly. The remote, at best, is hit and miss. It is not a distance issue as I tested it in various areas ranging from very close to the unit to across the room.I ordered a second light hoping the remote would function properly. It functions exactly the same as the first unit I ordered. Hit and miss. Fortunately, there are buttons on the front of the unit for some of the functions. The buttons on the unit do not offer all of the functions on the remote, but I like the light enough that I am willing to keep it even if I can only control it manually with the limited buttons on the light itself.

This was a fun purchase. It fills a room with stars, northern lights, and sky rainbows. I just love it in the bathroom while taking a bath. The room is bright enough that I don’t need another light on and it also connects to my iphone music. It’s a cool idea for those dark wintery nights when comfort is sometimes a challenge. I’ve also taken it into the classroom to help students find their inner calm. The kids also reviewed it high as well.
