Perfect Desk Lamp for Any Setting!
I recently purchased the Dott Arts Desk Lamp with USB Clip-On Light, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice! This lamp is everything I was looking for and more. The 3 color modes (warm, cool, and daylight) are fantastic, allowing me to switch the lighting depending on my mood or the task at hand. The 10 levels of brightness are a game-changer, offering the perfect amount of light whether I’m reading, working, or just relaxing. The clip-on feature is incredibly sturdy and versatile, easily attaching to my desk, headboard, or any surface I need it on. The USB connection is a convenient touch, making it easy to power the lamp through my laptop or a power bank.Overall, this lamp has exceeded my expectations. It’s stylish, functional, and provides just the right amount of light in any setting. Highly recommend to anyone in need of a reliable and versatile desk lamp!

Nifty little light
This little light is really cool! The flexible gooseneck makes this thing so maleable! It’s very lightweight and portable and since it is USB plug, so long as you have a brick or power bank, it’s awesome. Seems fairly durable but I’m not hard on stuff like this. The clamp is strong and keeps it nicely stable with minimal slipping, only slipped when I accidentally bonked it with my hip. And I love the three color modes! Along with a ten step dimming, so basically 30 light settings in a way. I would highly recommend this little light to any and every one.

Limited usage, fragile, and… just odd.
I just wanted a little lamp for my headboard… I’m super light sensitive due to chronic migraines that can last up to a month or more on top of having very little space for a table lamp. That being said, this clip-on lamp, is about as bare bones as you can get.It DOES have what they say it does… but they leave quite a bit out. The color tones of light work, the dimmer works, the clamp works, the gooseneck is very flexible, but it’s all a ”just barely” situation where you feel like you’re making concessions to NOT be grumpy about it. The bigger things that bug me on this are:The plug and adapter: Plugging this into a wall outlet, if you don’t get lucky enough to get the 90 degree adapter (like me), it sticks out a little over 4” from the wall. Mine goes behind my bed and headboard, so that’s a big oops. The cord is REALLY short. Around 4′ long. Just going from my headboard to the plug in directly below it, there’s maybe 3” of slack. This is REALLY SMALL! While it is small, it does light a SMALL area really well for what it is, though it is 100% diffused lighting, meaning no concentrated area with a frosted lens. The gooseneck is really flexible, but unfortunately, if you are trying to clip this on vertically, it’s NEVER going to sit the way you want it to. The lamp’s own weight (which is really nothing at all) is going to pull it downward. This is really only meant to be used with a horizontal position of the clamp. The clamp is really odd… It pinches well at the VERY tip and has a non-marring rubber-y pad, but the depth of the clamp is right at 1” deep. For my headboard having a decorative edge that is sloped, I can barely get this to bite. 1” is about the max for the clamp jaw width as well, so if anything you are going to use this on takes more than 1” to get to a flat, solid, horizontal bite, you’re going to feel a little taken on this one.The gooseneck is nearly in the center of the clamp, so if you need to clamp this on vertically instead of horizontally, you’re going to lose a LOT of length by trying to just get the gooseneck to go upwards, bending it 90 degrees up, then another 90 degrees down to aim the lamp at whatever you’re doing, and again, the weight of the lamp itself, drags the gooseneck downwards. The control is really tiny, and is in line on the cord, but it’s oddly almost 2′ down from the lamp itself, putting it literally in the middle of the cord, which is all manner of ”Huh, well… that’s awkward.”I can’t really be nasty about it, it does what they say it WILL do, but it doesn’t do it sustainably or comfortably, and they leave a lot of these little ”um, we could do better, but… why bother” issues out. This would be something you’d give a kid to clip onto their desk so they didn’t ruin your nice lamps, or something you’d toss in your camping gear and use twice a year. Everyday use, it’s not going to last long on it’s own, and it probably won’t survive you being frustrated that it popped off your headboard at 3am and scared the hell out of everyone while you screamed them awake, or the gooseneck folded down while you were sleeping and landed in your face, so you beat it to death like it was a giant spider before you realized what it actually was…All in all, it’s a ”meh, kinda wished I didn’t, but since I did, I guess we’ll see how long it survives” purchase.Add to that it took almost 2 weeks for this to even be shipped and on it’s way… My brow has been furrowed for a while now, no wonder I get migraines! Good luck folks!

Best crafting light ever!
I’ve had mine for a while now (purchased Aug 6, 2020) and it’s still going strong! I’ve never even had to change the bulb or anything. It’s super durable (it’s been dropped, moved, knocked off things, given to a child, things hang off the cord all the time, it’s kinda crazy what I’ve put this thing through.) The neck is easy to bend to whatever place you need it, and it doesn’t move from where you put it. The clip is strong and sturdy, but somehow isn’t difficult to operate. Finally now, literally three years after I bought it, the power button is kind of starting to crack. I’m so impressed I might just buy another one to keep as a backup. 10/10 would recommend, best crafting light ever.

this one really surprised me
when i opened the package from amazon i wondered what was in the tiny white box. it was this, my new desk lamp. when i opened it up a was expecting to be sorely disappointed. yep, it was the lamp i had ordered, in miniature! it was nice though and when i added it to my desk i was surprised at how well it did it’s job. the light can be adjusted to be BRIGHT. a good bright light source doesn’t have to be big! in fact this is a case where smaller is actually better! i like my new light very much. it does everything just perfectly for me. kudos to the guys who designed it.very well made. i feel certain that i will get many good years of just right use.

Too much blue light, Not too warm too much blue light thatâs not good for you.
This is a nice lamp. I don’t think it has 10 levels of brightness or dimming options. Not warm enough rather had too much blue light that is not good for the eyes nor your carcadian rythm.Make sure to put it on warm other wise itâs messing with sleep cycle. Question why is warm slowly disappearing? ð¤ ð ð§

Works fine. Weak Neck.
I purchased this to use on my wood lathe, specifically to angle the light into the narrow mouthed bowls when hollowing out. The light is good for that, and the brightness variability is useful. My only real issue is with the strength of the flexible neck. It’s weak near the base and will not always hold the position that I need it in. That can be a problem. A big plus, though, is the actual light cast from this thing. It has a white frosted lens, and the beam is dispersed and not narrow focused. So it casts a good light without lots of shadow. With other LED lights, the more narrow the beam, the more shadow you get. If it weren’t for the weak neck, I’d recommend this 100%. But for the price, it’s actually hard to beat.
