Perfect solution
I needed something I could substitute for Shabbat candles while traveling to a place that I doubt would be amenable to having me light actual candles, for various reasons. I saw these. I read the reviews before I purchased this product.Clearly, if you are purchasing plastic tea-light shaped objects that are supposed to mimic candles, they are going to be made of plastic and they are relatively cheap. However, they came packaged quite well, new in the box, with the plastic tabs intact to prevent draining the battery. When I removed the plastic tabs, the switches worked fine and turned on the “candles.” They flickered a little as expected, and therefore in the photo they probably do not appear to be exactly the same because they don’t flicker at the same time. The Hebrew writing is perfect. They will serve the purpose while I am out of town. I am keeping the box they came in so that the candle tips don’t bend and break off, because I don’t know how sturdy they are.

Very pleased
I had a pair that I used prior to buying these, and I prefer the ones I just bought. Obviously, I like the Hebrew, and the “lights” flicker in a warm tone. It feels more like the actual candles of Shabbat. It’s very affordable, and I think it’s a great gift for any person travelling that celebrates Shabbat.

Perfect for travel
I went in a cruise and the only thing that could improve this product is a auto off timer. I couldn’t shut it off until the next day at Havdalah time. I wish they had an electronic havdalah candle.
