And thanks to the excellent design and ease-of-use I was able to set the light up and begin using it within 5 minutes after I received it!I normally do not post a review within a few days after receiving a product, because I like to get some experience with the product before reviewing it. However, this light has been working so well, that I thought I would share my experience to help potential buyers.If you have realistic expectations regarding the brightness of a battery operated light, you will be amazed by how bright this light it. Some of the pictures that some reviewers have posted, really do it justice. Again, don’t expect the brightness of a wired bulb, but keep in mind that this light is powered only by batteries and does not need any wiring. It really does a great job lighting up a small area.Moreover, it comes with a fully functional and extremely responsive remote that can turn it on and off, change the temperature/color of the light, and set a timer function. The remote can also be used to place the light in motion activated mode which also works extremely well.Overall, this is a great little product that makes it very easy to add a bit of brightness in dark areas that do not have wiring or switches where one can use regular lights/bulbs.Again, this is a very early review so I will update it based on my experiences if needed.

Not for very high ceilings.
I bought this thinking I could use command strips. The back of the light would not adhere. So I drilled it into the ceiling where I needed more light. The sensor works beautifully ð. BUT I NEED A BRIGHTER LIGHT. I’ll definitely be keeping this to use until I find something brighter. Maybe I’ll move it to the bottom of my closet once I do. I have one picture with the regular bathroom lights on and one with them off. It doesn’t add the amount of light I wanted for in the shower but it’s great for when I walk in the bathroom at night.

Nice light, if only the motion sensor would work
Our shower stall is fairly dark due to our fancy shower curtain, so I bought this light to make showering easier. I decided to install the light with heavy-duty velcro tape rather than putting holes in my shower wall and that works just great. The light has lots of variety of brightness and color tones and really lights up the shower. So far so good. What it doesn’t do is work on motion mode. I have been through the instructions half a dozen times (at least) and only once did the motion function work. Just now I reprogrammed it again. The little red light came on like it is supposed to and continued blinking like it is supposed to. That’s it. It will not turn on when there is motion in front of the sensor. I stood in the shower and waved my hands around right in front of the sensor and nothing happened. I opened and closed the shower curtain which is a couple of feet away from the sensor, also no light.It is easy enough to turn the light on with the remote, so I do not plan on returning it, but if the motion sensor is important to you, I would look elsewhere.PS: It is possible that my light is just defective, but I just don’t want to do the whole return thing.

I will start with the negatives since they are what caused me to give a lower review.They donât come with batteries (which is no big deal, itâs listed in the description and I caught it in time that they arrived together)My main negative is that this light has to be screwed into the ceiling. If you have a shower like mine that is a full fiberglass encased shower, thereâs no way I was going to drill through that for a light- especially since this was an alternative to being a hard wired light.I solved this problem by buying waterproof command strips- however, the back of the light doesnât sit flat, so I had to maneuver the command strips in a way that probably wonât make them waterproof for very long.So far it is holding up, but itâs only been a few days.Positives- it is BRIGHT and you can choose between warm light and white light.Also if you choose warm, it stays warm and doesnât reset to the default white.The motion sensor works very well.It doesnât stay on very long when lit, but once on you can change the duration.It is long enough for me to use the restroom in the middle of the night and not be in the dark, but I donât know that itâs long enough for my 4 year old.I donât like that you canât turn down the brightness, I think something with a remote, you should be able to adjust the brightness.The remote offers yellow/white, duration of time on and an on/off switch. Thereâs also a toggle for in between white/warm, but it seems more convenient for that option to be a brightness scale.Overall, Iâd probably recommend this if you had a normal ceiling in your shower, but for a shower like mine with full plastic ceiling, Iâd go in a different direction.

Really brightened my shower area, you can change the light color to be more yellow or more blue with a touch of a button. It was easy to install. The remote works great. The best part though is the motion sensor, at night when you don’t want to wake someone with the big light, this is a nice soft light that comes on when you enter the bathroom.

The light was easy to install, and works great. A nice bright light but has a dimmer control. This light will work great in any location that would be hard to access a light without a switch or a ladder.

I’m currently on a mission to turn our drab city apartment bathroom into a bright, cozy, relaxing home spa, and we absolutely love the addition of this little light. I bought this to put in our shower, because its positioning meant that the main overhead light in the bathroom didn’t really reach the space, which made showering quite dim (especially in the evenings). Not a problem anymore! I was a little wary when I unpacked it because it was smaller than I expected, but the light is quite powerful despite its size and it illuminates the area perfectly. Also, it’s not the reason I bought it, but we discovered that we actually love the multicoloured lights lol. When combined with a waterproof bluetooth speaker, who wouldn’t love a shower disco party? The remote is great too, I attached it to the tile just outside the shower with some velcro tape to make a semi-permanent “switch” for easy access.I can’t comment on the motion detection since we don’t use it, I much prefer to just turn it on and off and not waste the battery. It’s only been a week or so, but given the quality of the product overall I’m hopeful the battery life holds out well too! I’m extremely pleased with the purchase, it’s exactly what I was looking for.

This light works great for my shower, the light tone changes from a cool white to a warm light depending on your preference. i use velcro strips to attach it to my ceiling in the shower it is easy removed to replace the 3 C cell batteries it takes. I also velcro the remote to the wall but we really dont use the remote, as the motion sensor works just great, I guess if you wanted it to stay off then you might use it. It also works great as a bathroom night light, where mine is I walk by the tub to use the toilet and the sensor comes on at night if it doesnt sense motion it will shut off in a few seconds automatically.

There is only one light in our bathroom, above the vanity. Plenty of light when taking a shower during the day with the light from the window and solatube however it was very dark at night. Ideally weâd like a hard wired light on a switch however until we can get an electrician in this works perfectly. Very happy with this purchase.
