These LED strips are good⦠for the price I paid.I built my own bed frame and then bought these LED strips to run within the frame.They do a good job for the application I chose to use them for.At the highest brightness, they are still dim enough in the middle of the night to not distract you.The remote control is a bit much tho.Too many buttonsIn the box you will find 2 spools of LED strips, a remote control, and a power outlet with 2 plugs. You have to run both LED strips off one plug.

Nice LED set for a classroom
I purchased several of these sets to go around a large whiteboard in my classroom. They are 8 feet long, so it took 4 to cover my large board. They do connect, so you only have one place to plug in. There is no “cord” to plug in, so you have to have a usb block or computer with usb very close to plug into. The colors are very bright and can be changed. I use the solid colors for noise levels in my classroom, but I can also make them alternate. My only complaint is that the remote doesn’t work well. I have to press really hard and aim at one certain spot to make it work. Since I bought several sets, I tried other remotes and had the same issue with all of them. Overall, I like the lights and will use them even with the remote issue.

Whacky- TV remote messed it up
So I did a staircase with the light set. Worked great at first. TV is near the staircase and the remote for the TV would affect the lights and change the color. Blocked off the sensor but the lights then would not change color. So ordered another one. Put that along the staircase and it was fine but it’s very delicate and touched it with the piece of furniture and then the lights would no longer change color or respond to the remote color changer. Okay. So ordered a third set but the third set does not respond at all. Only one strand is blinking and one strand would not come on at all. Using a voltage sensor it showed that power was going through both strips but neither remote since we had the old one, would turn on the light strips and make the color respond. Just one strip blinking. If you get it unravel it and plug it in right away to make sure the whole unit operates. Unfortunately I had it sitting in the box and it is just past the return date because putting it up through a stairwell is kind of a pain so I put it off. On the upside it comes in two rolls so there was 25 ft going into directions which worked perfect to go up each side of a set of stairs and light it up very well. Now have to get something else. It’s supposed to have a warranty so… Will find out about that.

I LOVE THESE
I ordered these lights and then I went and ordered another set for my sonâs room as well. They plug-in they give off a decent amount of light and have adjustable settings. I like that you can change how bright lights along with all the different color settings. Absolutely worth it. They were super easy to put up and they were a pretty decent length as well. It comes with a remote control as well, which I absolutely love because when I want them off right before Iâm ready to go to bed officially all I have to do is just press the button and I donât have to even get up 🙂

UPDATE: My cat decided to attack these and about a foot of the tape was mangled and had lots of little teeth marks. I am surprised and impressed to say only that portion of the led tape stopped working. I chopped off the bad part and the rest of it still works no problem!For me, this product was super easy to put together. The tape is strong. The color choices are top notch and the fact that you can create your own custom color is the chefâs kiss. I will update when/if the item stops working but as far as first impressions go, this is a 5 âï¸ item.
