Works
Works for my heavy sleepers. Just about everything on here is adjustable. It takes a bit to learn how to use it, but it’s not too bad.

Good quality alarm
My rule of thumb is if I can get something generally operable without having to look at the instructions, it’s an intuitive design. This clock falls into that category. It’s not the easiest to figure out. It has some oddities like sometimes you touch play/pause to stop and on other features you retouch the feature. It also does have a U for the volume instead of a V (digital display) and that took me a second but otherwise, it can be done.I like that the clock display has a little opaque feature to it as well as the numbers being able to be adjusted for brightness. It makes it visible in the night but not something I feel the need to put a sock over! The progressive glow in the sunrise feature is really nice. It’s well designed for a heavy sleeper with the exception that after 10 min. of playing the wake up song (10 min. past the alarm and it still hasn’t been turned off), a heavy sleeper really needs a good loud beep. I’d say it’s nice for light sleepers not to be jolted awake by typical alarms but it’s a bit problematic in that the cycle from first glow to alarm is 30 min. If you’re like me, that likely means you’ll lose 30 min. of sleep before the alarm actually goes off. Except for that one time you’re so tired you sleep through the first glow. So it could be a real trick for a light sleeper to depend on this alarm because the timeframe isn’t able to be shortened. You set the alarm for 8:30am and the light begins to lit at 8:00am. If it could be shortened to a 10 min. start to alarm cycle, it would be really really nice for light sleepers but as is, it’s either going to consistently cause extra loss of sleep or oversleeping, depending on how it’s set.The construction does have a quality feel to the unit. It doesn’t feel like cheap, chintzy plastic. It does appear to have the sleep timer that allows for nature sounds or white noice to be played when falling asleep that isn’t a common feature to all the other units but I’m not sure I would gravitate to purchasing this one when it’s parked almost $25 more than other off-brand units and the same price as Phillips, a well known brand name.

Gentle way of waking up and easy to use!
The alarm is great! Very easy to set up and arrange the settings that you prefer. The alarm is very bright, and does mimick the sunrise very well. The alarm has a lot of functions, such as radio, set up multiple alarms and even as a white noise machine. Would definitely recommend and its a good value for the price you pay!

Alarm Is Not Aggressive
I LOVE the alarm and how itâs a tune like song versus a beep. The color is great. I love that I can set the brightness of the time and even make it so it doesnât glow at all. The white noise has many choices AND the volume is adjustable to a loud setting if you place it across the room. I like waking up to the glow. It does actually help BUT I dislike that itâs 30 minutes before I have to wake. A lot of the times the moment the red pops on, Iâm up. Itâs made for a long day so I no longer use it. (Iâm afraid if I set it later, Iâll be late..anxiety is great.). I think it functions well. Itâs easy to use. I do think itâs a great value.

too many buttons that do too many things.
This is a cool looking alarm clock with some nifty features, including the “sunrise wake-up” function. I just think they might have overdone the number of buttons on it. And snooze is literally hit or miss for me. It has a wide variety of sounds, none of which sound particularly “natural” It does have a usb power output if you want to charge your phone on the nightstand next to it. the dimmable display is a nice feature as well. Unfortunately, I just found it difficult to operate. And that is not what you need when you are just waking up in the morning. I think placing the “snooze” button in a more obvious and easier to reach location would probably have increased my rating to 4 stars. Since this is my first alarm clock with the sunrise function, I cannot tell you if others are better or worse, but for me, this would be one I would pass on in the future. But that is me. The quality is pretty decent overall.

Love the sunrise.
Iâve been wanting a sunrise alarm for awhile. My circadian rhythm makes these the only sunrises I see as a rule. The clock was easy to set. The alarm times are easy to set. Iâve had a little trouble getting the volume where I like it but thatâs my anti-tech brain. Everything is done with taps, double taps and long press and hold. It can be a bit confusing at first. It can accept two alarms, each with their own sound and volume. There are several sound choices besides just a blaring alarm or you can choose to use the radio as the alarm sound. The birds chirping is my personal favorite. I love that the light and the alarm volume start off low up to 30 mins ahead of the time of the alarm. When using as a lamp you can choose from three color temperatures, warm, cool and combined. All three light temperatures can be dimmed. This alarm/lamp is only 7â across so it doesnât take up much room on my small bedside table.Iâve been using this for several months now and really enjoy waking up this way. It has performed flawlessly and even survived a few tumbles to the floor. The only thing I have an issue with is that the touch spot for power, color change and dimming is smaller than I would like and in an awkward spot on the top back of the arc. It makes for an awkward angle for me.Bottom line is a very functional, not so obnoxious alarm/lamp/radio in a small package with a minimalist aesthetic. Iâm glad I got it!
