Best overhead projection clock
Even in the afternoon the display on the ceiling is clear to see. Gret item, small in size and the best I hav ever had. Recommend highly.

SKIP THIS ONE: Failed to sync, display too bright on dim setting
Although the ceiling projection works OK, and once set, it’s stable like any quartz clock, the primary features I purchased this clock for do not work:1. It failed to sync to radio control. It clearly makes an effort since when it does so it gives a very clear indication, but after days of operation, the sync has not been successful.2. The clock numerals are unreadable as I lay on the bed. This is because the display face has a narrow range of angles over which the clock numerals can be seen. And unfortunately the clock is configured with it face pointing at a small angle upward. This yields the numerals unreadable as I lay on the bed. To see the time, I must sit up, which is not what you want in a bedside clock.3. The face display is too bright in its dimmest setting. Although the face display brightness can be dimmed, it is still very bright in its dimmest setting. It’s too bright to sleep by. I had to turn it completely off and just rely on the overhead projection. So if I am on my stomach in bed, I have to turn over to see the projection on the ceiling, rather than just look sideways at the clock itself. Not what I wanted.4. The user interface is counter intuitive, and some of the advertised features are so hidden I could never find them. For example, the ceiling projection brightness is supposed to be dimmable. I could only find an on-off switch for it.

Buttons on the side are not a good idea
It is very easy to pick this up by the sides unintentionally modifying the direction of the display, setting the alarm and other unwanted effects. Button distribution could have been done better.The time projection is a lot bigger than our last clock and brighter. The brightness is under control and the display is quite large and sharp.The last clock lasted 15 years but slowly lost parts of the display on the clock, no longer project the outside temperature and finally stopped responding to any buttons.

It works but is a pain
I like that it works and projects but the battery doesnât keep the time for any bit and you will have to reset it yourself any time you lose power. Iâve replaced the battery with no change.

GREAT CLOCK! VERY EASY TO USE AND EASY TO READ
Great clock. I have had several ceiling display atomic clocks and this is by far the best. It is easy to set up and the ceiling display is easy to focus and read. The clock display has a good low dim setting and can also be turned off completely with a simple touch of a button on the top. The ceiling display is just a little bright and it would be nice to have dimness settings on the ceiling display. However, it is not objectionable and overall the clock is well worth it. I would definitely recommend and buy it again.

RCC doesn’t work
I bought this clock after my trusty Oregon Scientific atomic clock quit projecting after 18 years. I had high hopes but should’ve listened to the other reviews. The clock itself works fine in manual mode and I like the projection. HOWEVER, I also wanted an RCC/ atomic clock so I don’t have to worry about setting it. I have several others in my house that work just fine. I have had this clock for nearly a week and it will not pick up signal. I have to manually set it. This apparently is a very common problem for this clock. If I wanted a manual projection clock, I would’ve purchased one. If you don’t mind that you probably won’t get the RCC to work, this is a great little clock, but again, that’s one of the features I wanted and paid for. So it’s going back.

Works great
When I first plugged it in the clock it gave me the accurate humidity and temperature right off the bat. The projection is strong and large on my ceiling which I was concerned about. It found the time right away just had to set the time zone. I had the Oregon scientific until it quit projecting and was trying to find another one but this one is much better as far as I’m concerned and cheaper..I’m really enjoying it.
