A wonderful all season blanket that truly fits a king size bed
UPDATE after 8 MONTHS of use:This is still an amazing blanket! One corner has come unsewn a little but it hasn’t gone any further and one day I might actually get around to fixing it, lol. It still produces a lot of lint in the dryer but my 20+ year old cotton blanket still does as well so it isn’t a big deal to me. It is an awesome blanket for ALL seasons!This is an excellent blanket! I have been trying to find another 100% cotton blanket for our bed for a couple of years and was beginning to feel like Goldilocks. One was too heavy, one was too thin (it started falling apart after the initial washing), one did not even remotely fit the width of our king sized bed (even though it was supposed to be for a king sized bed).Finally, I’ve found a blanket that fits our bed just right and is just the right weight for year round use! Based on some of the reviews that I read about color bleeding, i added white vinegar (which helps to set colors) to the initial wash. I am happy to say that there has been zero color bleeding from the navy blue blanket onto our light blue or mint green sheets. Did we get a boatload of lint from it in the dryer? Absolutely, every time we washed and dried it (4 times now because we have animals and allergies, lol)! We get a bit less each time and quite frankly, I would worry if a cotton blanket DIDN’T produce a lot of lint initially. The 100% cotton blanket we have been using for 15 years still produces SOME lint and it is still as good as new. I was trying to find a blanket just like it actually, just so I could completely change our bedding (sheets AND blankets, for the sake of our allergies) each week without having to wait for the blanket to wash and dry. This blanket meets all our expectations and more! It is super soft and only getting softer with each washing, it is durable and appears to be well made. It isn’t quite as light as I was hoping but it is pretty darn close and we have not been getting too hot when we use it (which is an issue when you sleep with a 70 lb pitbull pressed against you, lol).This blanket has impressed me so much that it is going to be a gift for some of our family and friends this Christmas!

Great Cotton Blanket
Size/Color/PricingI purchased the twin size blanket in teal for use on my couch since I sometimes want to pull it up farther than a standard throw blanket will allow. The size has been perfect for me (I’m 5’7″) with room to spare, and the teal color is beautiful. I paid 23.99 in June 2019, and waited to review until I had enough time with it to write a useful review. I have been very pleased with the blanket overall.Washing/DryingI washed the blanket by itself before using, and had plenty of lint in the dryer trap as I expected with any 100% woven cotton blanket. It was fairly soft after the first wash and dry, and the softness has only increased with each subsequent wash/dry. I continue to wash/dry it by itself so as not to overload my washer and to prevent any possible dye transfer while wet. I have not noted any issues with color transfer while dry, either. I continued to see a fair amount of lint collected in the dryer lint trap over the past year, but the amount has decreased each time it is dried and it is now minimal.Overall UseThe blanket is very soft, and I haven’t noticed any snags or loose threads over the past year. It is fairly lightweight, breathable, and is perfect for use in Texas most of the year through blazing hot summers with air conditioning cranked up, and for all but the coldest of days (when I dig out my big/heavy faux fur/fleece blanket just to feel extra wintery and cozy). It seems to be fairly durable, and I look forward to many more years of use. I would not hesitate to purchase it again, and will be happy to order another blanket for my bedroom when the teal color in king size is available.

One of my favorite blankets, butâ¦.
Summary: Love it but, sheds pretty bad for a while!!!This is literally my favorite blanket now that we have had it for a while. I get really hot at night and this is typically my go to blanket for, even for both my pregnancies during 3rd trimester full summer months. It is heavy enough that I donât end up cold, but light enough I stay cool. I love this type of blanket and it is huge in the king size!! Just what k was looking for!However, the main down side it is sheds sooooooo bad when you first get it. It was alll over our bedroom and got in like every room of the house after a while. I did read this in the reviews and ended up watching it quite a few times to help get rid of this issue. I brought this in 2020 and still love it, so that goes to show I was invested in keeping it around.Pros: perfect for lightweight blanket, still feels substantial and looks great!!Con: shedding – like more than anything I have ever owned – so be sure to wash like 5 times before useâ¦.

Me gustó que tiene un tejido lo suficientemente cerrado como para evitar que se enganche y se le salgan las hebras. Pero no es tan cerrado que sea caliente. Para dormir a gusto en clima templado. No es pesada. El color blanco esta muy bonito, tiene un ligero brillo que hace lucir la colcha.Al colchón king size que tiene cojineta (de los altos) le quedó perfecto, lo cubre completo.Falta lavarla al principio para quitarle el olor a tejido nuevo.Precio muy bueno para la calidad.Muy Satisfecho.

Bought as an all year round blanket for my bed. Light blue is a lovely colour, washes well. Bought King size as I have extra deep Queen mattress, little did I know that the blanket does stretch. I was fine with that as I am a blanket hog.Overall happy with the product and it was a great price too!
