Iâm really into cuckoo clocks, including one from Germany. There are 2 types: mechanical and quartz. The mechanical ones can get pricey, sometimes costing thousands. This quartz one has the classic German style and quality but at a much better price. highly recommended

A lot of bang for the buck
For the price itâs an exceptional deal. Itâs a very lovely well made clock that came in well padded professional packaging with detailed careful instructions. A lot of well thought out measures and care were taken with this product. The chockoo chime sounds very lovely. The only thing I could do without would be the little melodies that sound cliche and more like a child toy. I certainly knew and had seen the videos so it wasnât a surprise and i am still very happy with this product. A turn off melody button might be an idea at some point.

NOT handmade and all backwards!
This clock is not handmade! It is âMade in Chinaâ and of brittle compressed or plastic wood i donât even know. What I do know is it is not what they describe it to be AND the coo coo is just that COO COO! The chiming is backwards!At 3 oâclock it chimes 9 times at 9 oâclock it chimes 3 times etc etc. I really dislike how businesses advertising is false

When I was a child my mother took me to visit my aunt and she had a cuckoo clock that made an impression on me, it felt joyful looking at it and when I saw this lovely-looking clock I was interested, my video shows this nicely designed cuckoo clock in my video!After opening and inspecting this clock is well made, and detailed, the clock is made mostly of wood, a type of plywood with real wood laminate on top used for clocks and models. There are solid wood parts on the clock: the pine cones, the pendulum, and the figurines, but the structure’s mass is made of high-quality plywood with real wood laminate, a better material than solid wood due to cracking, swelling, etc. I believe the clock would be cut out with a CNC machine but it needs to be assembled by hand!The clock uses C-type batteries, I used an AA to C adaptor and the clock works perfectly, there are a few controls high, low, off, and volume, and a button to set the cuckoo bird, the chains can be adjusted by taking out the screws on the plastic holder. I discovered there’s a tie holding them from moving, once removed the chains can be adjusted, I prefer the pine cone higher up and it looks great this way!Every time the clock chimes on the hour the cuckoo bird comes out, and then a tune plays a different song each hour. The clock has a clear sound, fairly loud but not overly loud, the bird comes out quickly and the small bird is somewhat detailed, its wings and beak move when cuckooing, very interesting and cute! The pendulum is moved by a separate electromagnet circuit not connected to the quartz clock, at first I found the pendulum to move quickly and ended up adjusting the pine cones higher which helps cover and distract from the swinging motion, now it’s not an issue for me. To set the clock carefully turn the large hand clockwise and for the cuckoo bird press the button to synchronize to the right hour.The clock looks great and is well-detailed, hand-assembled with many intricate parts, tiny nails, and glue that holds everything together. I appreciate the quality and detail! In this replica, this is a beautiful, fun cuckoo clock. It brings cheer to my home, and when someone visits, they immediately check it out. I’m thrilled to have it, so I’m giving the HUGE HAPPINESS Cuckoo Clock 5 Stars.

I love that this cuckoo clock from brand HUGE HAPPINESS offers a sound that is aligned with much of the nostalgic memories of my childhood. Strange story, but my mother was adopted by dutch parents, and so many of my formative hours on-the-hour, visiting with my Oma and Opa, were chimed in to a traditional sound just like this clock produces. However, it also has the benefit of a total of 12 different melodies, so there is definitely something here for everyone. It also has a volume control so that it is not too obnoxious, as well as a night modeAdditionally, I was very impressed by the creativity of this clock; all the bits appear to be handmade, and resemble a German-style wooden house, with an actual cuckoo bird that pops out when the clock chimes; it is such a fun and enjoyable thing to behold.I was not happy however that the brand chose to not include three type-c carbon zinc batteries that are required in order for this clock to function, and it took me longer to review the unit because I had to wait for batteries to arrive at a later time. This was a bit annoying, and cost the brand a star.Overall I am still pleased with the design and the sounds and the atmosphere it provides; adding a unique aesthetic to my living room decor. 4 stars in total.
