Good quality and a nice warm color
I liked these enough to buy a second set. The first are clipped to a hutch-like riser on my computer desk, flanking the monitor. The light shines upward onto the wall behind, creating a nice warm backlight with a slight overhead glow. When I need light for reading a document, I just curve one of the lamps toward me and down so that it shines on the paper. A second set was purchased mainly to have one as a reading lamp clamped to a wooden headboard in the bedroom. Since I only used one there, I have a spare. I like that, too.

Solid clamp lights
The lights look good and feel solid and well machined. These were for a kids’ bunk bed and I prefer the simplicity of a single button / light setting. They are very maneuverable and stay in place well. The downsides are that the power cord is quite short and, in my opinion, the light a bit too bright for the purposes of bedside reading.

Cool Industrial Look, Perfect Performance
These have the perfect industrial look for high end audio illumination. The right look, and perfectly adequate illumination for required tasks, like cleaning tape heads, or viewing controls. Just the right length, and easy to maneuver around to get the right view. Quality is great, no issues to mention. Much more cost effective than buying lights specifically marketed for these purposes, and no difference in utility.

Needs a converter to plug in
I got this for my son so that he can read in bed while his brother sleeps. I like that you can choose the warm light so that it is easier in his eyes before sleeping.I think it is a little weird that the plug isnât a standard plug for an outlet. It needs a converter like a phone charger needs. Kinda annoying ti not be able to use the light without buying another item.I hope this review is helpful.

Not very bright, uses a lot of power. Clamp needs to be redesigned.
I bought this light to use in the garage mostly. It seems to be very strong construction, but I’m very disappointed for a few reasons. My biggest gripe is the ridiculous spring tension of the clamp. I have to use vise-grips, or a c clamp to open it. Then, the light output is not what was expected. About what a battery powered reading lamp has. It draws 10 to 11 watts & the lamp body gets very hot. I have other lights that put out way more light & only pull 3 watts & don’t get hot at all. I wanted a goose-neck clamp-on light, but this one is a big disappointmentUpdate 6/3/22: After trying to actually use this thing, I’ve downgraded it another star because because of another problem with the clamp. At least one jaw of the clamp needs to be a rocker type because the way it is, even though it’s clamping very tight, the clamp will wobble on the object it’s clamped to making the light head wiggle too much.

Perfect! Exactly what we were looking for. They are brighter than our old ones but not an issue for us. The only thing was there was no booklet or any information about the lights. Will read more on line to see if the bulbs are replaceable or if they just last a long time.
