Great substitute for traditional NEON lighting
This was super easy to install, no issues with connecting to the phone at all! Sturdy and super bright! Just wish the segments were a bit smaller on the light customization. Can’t show the design on here due to 18+ issues but 10/10 recommended for people who want a personal sign. Cost is not bad too considering the cost of a normal neon sign. Works great!

Easy to set up and so vibrant!
 I got this for my apartment and absolutely love it! The 16ft one is the perfect length for what I envisioned, vibrant color, and super bendy! Easy to put up by yourself and connect to the app. I used tape to place the lights and get the shape before actually putting the adhesive holder things on. Absolutely worth the cost!The app has so many different options for light modes, brightness, timer, and so much more! If you’re like me and mess around with all the options but want to go back to the original, the default when you set it up is called ‘rainbow’ it’s under the scenes lighting mode (and my personal favorite)

DOES CONNECT TO APPLE HOME APP
LOVE LOVE LOVE these lights! The Govee app is a bit confusing, but the amount of options I have for designs, brightness and colors is amazing! I was scared when I ordered it might not connect to my Apple Home app, But it does! The QR code is on the power button and you do need a homepod or homepod mini to connect to your home! My favorite function is the access from your control center you can turn them on and change colors and siri also can create timers and change the brightness and colors! Use all of the adhesives, you if are stingy they tend to fall. I used all of them and I havenât had a problem! Price is amazing for the product you get!

Lovely, bright, fun
I absolutely loved that rope light. I’ve had my eye on a similar white Ikea rope light that is no longer being made and then i found this. This is a smart light, with many colors, a very intuitive app with so many color design options, it’s absolutely mind-blowing especially at this price. I bought this to put in a large glass jar to replace the rope lights I already use. The light can be very bright if you choose to or you can dim it. I bought a bunch of other Govee lights with this so I returned this rope because I thought the others worked better for what I needed it for but if I’d found use for it I would have totally kept it. If you have a game room, or a kid’s room, this would be a fun addition to their wall. I already have wall mounted Nanoleaf so I had no use for those. The material was thick and flexible, could be mounted and maybe it had an adhesive back, I don’t know because I never unrolled it and returned it in its original condition. Great product.

Beautiful lights with the BEST software!
This rope light is genuinely stunning. I use them primarily in a game room/office and they add such a nice aesthetic. The colors are true. My favorite part about the light is how I’m able to change each segment of the rope to a different color. It really came in handy for me since I used it to match a certain color scheme for my gaming PC.Now let’s talk about the Govee software. Their software is the reason I will only ever buy Govee light products for the rest of my life. It’s truly seamless when trying to set up a new device. Even for people who may not be as tech savvy. The customization options are unreal. You’re able to set colors, scenes, timers and more.Bottom line is if you’re on the fence about getting this rope light, do it. It’s more than worth the money.

Awesome product, wish it had more mounts included
 Wanted neon signage for my garage but didn’t like the cost for what was on the market for the features I wanted.I’m a DIY person so I make things and refine it over time.So when I found Govee was releasing this today, I bought 3 lol.I know this isn’t the intended mounting, but it worked for what I needed in the short term. I do wish they included more mounts & bend clips in the kit. Only has x10 bend clips & about x15 single clips.Reason being is that for long strips, it tends to sag if single mounts are further than 6″ from each other (as you can see in the curve by the mirror in my video)The clips themselves held great on to the wall, my only gripe is that when you are starting to mount them, the weight & flexing of the rest of the length pulls on the few mounts you have started. This caused the single mounts to start to pull the new paint I did in my garage.In the future I’ll get a sheet of acrylic & actually outline the design to screw them on to. (Again this works for the short term)Aside from that, I love the app infrastructure that Govee has set up & continue to expand upon with each new Firmware update. I like creating my own presets and linking them to the physical button fobs as I stream & YT frequently. So that cuts down time for setup on ambient lighting.This product itself is very good quality, silicon casing, great diffusion, seamless sequential chasing, and a fair bit of wiring to plug in & hide the controller.Only gets 4 stars for lack of hardware included in kit.

Cool lights with near infinite control
I bought two sets to create mood lighting under our bed. I am impressed with the quality, connectivity, and ease of use of the lights. There is an infinite choice of colors and you can customize different segments to different color. The app even allow you to sync it to music that you are playing. Overall I am happy with the purchase and looking forward to getting a couple more Govee lights to complete our bedroom project.

Works and looks great
Works like a charm, is really bright and easy to connect. They look really good. There are some weird problems with automations but they arenât too prominent. Overall great product for the price, 10/10.Also, I didnât even need to use all of the clips, I also didnât need to use any screws, the adhesive did the job.

 I was trying to find a affordable neon signs but they donât look like real ones and not that good quality. This one turned out as a great alternative solution, cheaper, smarter and matter supported I can easily control it with my Apple automations.Installation was easy. Just started from one corner till the end by making my own style of curves. Stickers behind the holders are strong but if the curve is too sudden the pressure could be higher, those areas I recommend nailing those holders instead of relying on the stickers.Adding my favourite lighting styles, favourite is rainbow one.

I really wanted to like these lights, but they were a little underwhelming. In a different way though. The lighting and effects themselves were really nice, but they didn’t want to stick to the surface I needed them on, when it should have been fine. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to screw in the mounting brackets, otherwise these would’ve been fantastic!
