Easy to set up – brightness levels on face
Apparently LEDs don’t last forever. We bought this to replace a similar clock with fading time projection. Liked the ease of use in setting it up. Both the clock face and the overhead projection are easy to read. Watch what you purchase. This has an atomic settings clock and both indoor and outdoor temperature sensors (that work as both a projection and on the clock face.) Plus the day of the week and month/date are on the clock face, but it does not seem cluttered. You can set the brightness levels to reduce and brighten at daily timed intervals. You can also reduce or enhance the clock face brightness with a push bar on top. It also has an alarm feature that we never use.

Great projection clock!
I’ve tried a few different projection clocks and this is by far the best even though it looks a little dated. Easy to setup, very clear projection, and nice that it includes an external temperature sensor.

Works Great
Works as described and the projected display is large and easy to read with my old eyes. Would have been 5 Stars except one of the springs in the sending unit was not long enough to hold the battery in place and make good contact. I had to add a small washer between the spring and the negative of the battery to make it work.

Our other unit was old and loved the fact that projects on the ceiling,

Good Bedroom Item Not all reviews seem to be for this item
If you have this near your bed and like the room to be dark, it has an automatic dimming feature that you can set to turn the back light off at an hour of your choosing. The types of clocks with color screens need a constant backlight to be legible and I found them too bright for the room or not bright enough to be legible. The projector works well and has a high and low setting. I suspect that some reviews that mention a small size for the projected temps and time are for a different model. Notice that some reviews are more than 10 years old. Many of these items try to fit too many features into a small screen leaving all features hard to read. Not the case with this item. This is a basic clock and in/out thermometer. My opinion, if you want a weather station you probably don’t want it in your bedroom.”Monitors Indoor and Wireless Outdoor temperature (°F/°C) with trend arrows; Charge devices with 1 amp USB charging port; Customized calendar: full weekday, day/month/date, alarm time” This web description is not true, for the Silver version. NO USB port on this item. Look at photos, you won’t see one.I do not use the alarm, the soft music from your phone is a much better way to wake up. One month later I especially like the auto dimming feature. The display works perfectly, large and legible.

easy to read and not too bright
Easy to setup, could not get the atomic time to automatically set the time.

Love it, big and bright numbers
I bought this to replace an older version I had for many many years. The old one eventually would not connect with the outdoor receiver. I liked the old one so much I wanted to get the same brand in a newer version. The new one connected very easily with the outdoor receiver, just follow the directions. At night you can change the brightness of both the display shining on the wall or ceiling, as well as the brightness of the clock face itself. Very nice feature as the older version was difficult to see the face during the day. The numbers on the ceiling are much larger than my original (which makes it easier for us visually challenged to read) and I like it bright, and on the brightest setting it looks real nice up on my 11 foot high ceiling! I am thinking of buying another for our vacation place.

Great Clock. Displays are easy to adjust
The screen and projector are easy to adjust for high, medium, low and off light output. The other clock functions are also very easy to use. The clock appears to be well made. I have purchased several of these type of projection clocks over the years. This one has the best display and control system. I was concerned by some of the low reviews, mostly from a few years ago. None of them seem to be relevant at this time.

This clock has accurate atomic time. You never need to set it. The temperature reading is accurate as well, both inside and out. We have four very different La Crosse weather clocks, which all read off the same outdoor transmitter, the first one we set up to use with the first clock we bought a number of years ago. We keep the other transmitters that came with each successive clock in a drawer in case the one outside breaks. As soon as you set up a new clock, it immediately begins reading off the old transmitter. We especially like the fully adjustable time projector which displays the time on the ceiling. It can be adjusted 360° and in dim, bright or off settings. The main display can also be adjusted to lights off, which is our preference.

The plug and voltage is incorrect for the UK and is only 120v.It is a disgrace that UK residents are not warned of this. Had my husband not checked it would have blown the unit across the room. I am seeking a return but the seller wants me to pay for the postage and also send it back to the UK..not a good experience.
