This is a great lamp. Its nice looking and well made. I was missing a screw on the head of the lamp but that’s no biggie. The actual box (not shipping box) was very dusty and looked tossed around. But lamp works great and fits perfectly on shelf.

Defective Prongs
I originally purchased this lamp because I didn’t want another touch lamp. I didn’t check the plug on the first lamp that I received and plugged it in. Before the plug was all the way in the outlet, sparks flew and the so did the house fuse! I said ok, likely a fluke I’ll give them another try and my replacement arrived in a few days. This time I checked the plug right out of the box – same thing. The prongs are not smooth; they have uneven sharp edges – the electrical response is kind of what I’d expect if someone put a knife in an outlet. Very poor quality control somewhere.If you go ahead and buy this lamp, check the prongs closely before plugging it into an outlet.

I only used a 25W bulb and this lamp shorted itself out while also tripping the fuse. Itâs cute but itâs only for very dim bulbs or LED.

I am disappointed that the switch is in the cord, making it difficult to find. As a result, most guests have trouble turning on the light.
