GREAT LITTLE LIGHT
This light is perfect for beside my recliner. Not too bright and adjustable so I can see just what I need to see.

Desk lamp with replaceable bulb
This desk lamp is heavy and does not tip over easily. It is made of metal with a wrought iron lampshade and base, making this lamp feel heavy, sturdy, and durable. It has 3 brightness levels (low, medium, and high). It was a little tricky figuring out how to change the brightness. To change it, turn the switch on and it goes to high, turn it off then on again to change it to low, then turn it off and back on to go to medium. That is a little awkward and should be mentioned. The lamp can be easily positioned to face different ways by bending the gooseneck. This is a corded electric lamp. It uses a replaceable light bulb (12 watt LED bulb included), so no waste with throwing out the lamp when the bulb goes out. The base has a pad on the bottom to protect the furniture. Overall, this is a very nice, well-made, and durable lamp. I recommend it.

A simple, well-made, effective desk light source with an odd knob
My home office is lit by lamps, but none of them really hit my work surface for when I’m disassembling something or studying some piece of electronics up close. I accepted this lamp for review in order to rectify the situation.Its all-white finish mixing glossy and matte elements is simple and attractive. The gooseneck is quite flexible, allowing me to get it down to just a couple inches from my desk, or have it shine from about 8-9” up. (I’m generally leaving it in the higher position.)I was briefly confused by the knob; I’m used to 3-way lamps cycling through brightnesses while you continually twist their knobs clockwise. This one, you turn on clockwise, then off counterclockwise; the next time you turn it on, it’ll be one step dimmer, until you cycle back around to the brightest setting again.What’s extra strange about that is that if you leave the rotary switch on and hook this lamp up to a smart plug, you’ll find that as power is turned on and off, it does the same dimming thing! Could be handy, could be very annoying.The included 12W bulb says it’s got a 3000K color temperature and uses an E26 base. It does not state lumens. I did notice that neither it nor the socket in the lamp appear to be 3-way. Instead, I’m assuming what’s happening here is that the bulb is actually dimmable (as the product description says, but it pays to check!), and the lamp is driving it that way.Particulars aside, it does a great job illuminating the work on my desk, which is precisely what I got it for. I just need to be ready to fiddle with the knob a little to get the brightness I want.

This will be a very useful lamp next to my sewing machine.
This lamp is just the right size to use when I need an extra bit of focused light on something I am stitching with my sewing machine. I like that the lamp is not so big that it will be in the way like the lamp I have been using for this purpose. I can move this lamp close in to where I need it and adjust the almost infinitely adjustable neck to achieve just the right angle. There is one thing about this lamp that seemed a bit odd to me: The listing and box descriptions both refer to the adjustable brightness using the “rotary” switch, which I assumed meant that the rotary switch would be turned to to the right start the light the lowest level and then turned further to the right to achieve higher levels of light. The switch does not work this way. You turn it to the RIGHT, it clicks to give the lowest level of light. To get to the next level of light you turn the switch the LEFT to turn it OFF, then turn it again to the RIGHT and it clicks to the second level of light. You do the same routine to get to the third and brightest level of light. It is certainly a type of switch unfamiliar to me, but it works. I will enjoy using this lamp.

Haben die Lampe für den Schreibtisch unserer Tochter bestellt. Sie kommt jetzt in die Schule.Ein Leuchtmittel ist mir dabei und kann sogar gedimmt werden. Hat uns aber von der Farbe her nicht gefallen und wurde deshalb ausgetauscht. Unsere Tochter kommt gut mit der Lampe zurecht.

Cette lampe de table est fournie avec une ampoule LED 12W de culot E27 et une petite notice.La lampe est de bonne qualité, elle est solide, tout en métal et son col flexible est pratique.Elle dispose d’un bouton interrupteur faisant aussi office de réglage de l’intensité lumineuse sur 3 niveaux.La notice est peu explicite en indiquant simplement de tourner le bouton pour faire varier l’intensité lumineuse, ce qui peut surprendre. Il s’agit en fait de tourner le bouton alternativement dans un sens et dans l’autre ( clic/clac) pour faire varier l’intensité lumineuse.

Die schwarze Schreibtischlampe schaut eigentlich nicht schlecht aus. Sie kommt gut verpackt in einem Karton und enthält neben einem Faltblatt noch eine 12W LED-Lampe.Leider war mein Exemplar anscheinend nicht gut genug verpackt worden, denn sie hat eine unschöne Delle im Lampenschirm (siehe Bild). Vielleicht hat sie diese auch schon in der Fabrik bekommen. Wer weiß? Auch gibt es einen feinen hellen Kratzer am Rand.Der Standfuß hat keinen richtigen Boden, sondern es wurde so eine Art Moosgummi aufgeklebt. Das macht keinen sehr soliden Eindruck.Der runde Knopf auf dem Fuß dient zum Einschalten. Leider dient er auch dazu die Helligkeit zu regulieren. Aber nicht, wie ich gehofft hatte, durch stufenloses Drehen desselben, sondern man muß das Licht aus- und wieder einschalten. Dann leuchtet sie jedesmal etwas schwächer. Es gibt drei Helligkeitsstufen, die sich die Lampe auch nicht merkt. Das ist ziemlich nervig. Weniger wäre hier mehr gewesen. Wieso nicht einfach nur einen simplen Ein/Aus-Schalter verbauen? Mehr braucht es nicht.Nachtrag:Wie sich herausstellte, ist die (für mich nervige) dreistufige Dimmfunktion keine Funktion der Lampe, sondern der mitgelieferten LED-Lampe. Ich habe diese gegen eine gewöhnliche ausgetauscht und jetzt läßt sich die Lampe mit gleichbleibender Helligkeit normal ein- und ausschalten.
