Light is bright and easy to adjust with the knob. I like how it has two connections for usb-c and usb to charge other devices. The light hardware can be moved to different angles to help with lighting. One thing I don not like, the device connection for electricity is not a usb connection or usb- c and cable is short.

I am nothing short of totally impressed with this Smart Led Desk Lamp. Nobody, myself included, ever has “too much” desktop or workbench space, so whatever device I commit to putting on my limited desk space must earn its keep. Not only does this Smart Led Desk Lamp meet all of my lighting needs by being adaptable and conformable to my space and what I’m working on, it also delivers many other functions using a very user-friendly set of controls. This Smart Led Desk Lamp has earned a permanent place on my desk. Ok, it has the basic desk lamp options of a moveable lamp head, but this one has more positions, including the ability to fold up so that’s it’s completely out of your way. The motion is smooth and it has a solid feel to it.The light adjustment is by touch, using a finger slide, so that you can adjust to the exact amount of light that you need right at that moment. You can also adjust the light setting by a “manual” mode of repeatedly pressing a button on the front. There are 5 brightness levels, and also 5 temperature color levels, so you have plenty to choose from to find what’s right for you in a given situation.

Adjustable. 55 lighting modes, a USB charger (and a port that I can’t figure out what it’s for), Someone really thought this one out.My desk is really cluttered and is in a a corner that overhead lights don’t reach. This worked out really well. I mentioned it’s compact, unobtrusive. You can play with the 55 lighting modes forever. It took a bit to figure out how to set up the clock (24 hour, or 12 hour), but I’m not taking away any stars for that.The pen holder may seem stupid at first, but guess what, you’ll always have a pen or pencil handy.The light adjusts up and down and swivels on its axis. Nice.I like this product. I would recommend it to a friend, or two. Great for home offices or students.

Small base pros and cons
I have another lamp like this with a larger base. The larger base is definitely more stable, but it takes up so much on the table top. I actually like this better. The hinges and swivels all stay tight too.

With so many other choices out there, you at least can’t really go wrong with this desk lamp.
I mean, it’s a great basic desk lamp. And it looks sleek and stylish without going overboard. And if I had to find a downside, it would only be that they give too much attention to the two “fast charging” ports, lol. Folks, pretty much no desk lamp at this price is going to have any kind of significant fast charging. Well, at least this one doesn’t call their charging ports “fast charging,” while they only charge at 10 watts, like many others do. No, the maximum output for each charging port on THIS desk lamp, is 18 watts. So depending on what cell phone you have, it’s likely that it won’t “fast charge” if it’s plugged into one of the charging ports. The Google Pixel 8 Pro, for example, requires 30 watts to charge at it’s maximum rate (at least, that’s what they say). And the latest Samsung flagship, the S24 Ultra, needs 45 watts to charge at IT’S maximum capacity.But it was very easy to find the information regarding the charging ports that this desk lamp has, before I committed to ordering it. So I already knew what to expect in that department, which is why I am still quite happy to give this desk lamp a score of5… out of, 5.

Excellent Desk Lamp.
First I must say that I am a vine reviewer and I removed this COOLNIGHT Desk Lamp (55 Lighting Modes Desk Light,72 LED Desk Lamp with USB Charging Port) free as part of there vine program. The vine program was designed to generate reviews of new products at amazon. This is an excellent desk lamp. It has a small but heavier base for stability and takes up very little space. It has USB ports from charging your devices and it its a LED light. It has different lighting modes depending on your taste in lighting. You just hit the power button to turn it on, and press again to change the mode. It lights well well and I click for the soft lighting mode (looks like from an incandescent bulb). it’s very easy on my eyes. This is a great desk light and I can recommend.

Useful, but wish it swiveled sideways
Good: this has several different light temperature settings and a big range of brightness options. It has a usb port and a usb c port so things can be charged via the lamp, and a little holder for a few pens (I keep my ipad pencils here). It also provides great lighting, and has a digital clock option which I love. It also remembers your last used light / brightness when you turn it back on. The downsides: The light only goes up or down and can’t be swiveled side to side, so if you want the clock to face you, the lighting bar is awkwardly vertical over whatever you’re doing. It would make sense at times to turn it more horizontally for a broader spread of light across a working surface (instead of across one sliver of my desk), but again, I don’t want to turn the base sideways and lose the clock feature. The knob to change temperatures and brightness is also annoying – it is held down to turn off, and pressed to change lighting temperature, so often one happens instead of the other because of pressing just a smidge too long or short. I have mixed feelings still about the lack of swivel, because my ring light provided more of an ambient spread of light across my desk, but it is objectively a really nice desk lamp with very useful features.
