Our old house doesn’t have great lighting, so we needed these for my daughter who is just getting into putting on makeup. These lights are perfect! Very easy to install. We did use transparent tape to check placement before we peeled the backing off the tape on the lights. They remind me if the Hollywood style lights actresses use to get ready. We plugged them straight in, but they do come with a dimmable attachment.
