Excellent lamp for the money
I purchased a pair of these lamps to use for reading in bed. I was a little hesitant because of other reviews that said the mounting clamp was not very strong. I can’t speak for those other people’s experiences, but I find the clamps are very strong. In fact, I have to use two hands just to get them open. And they have pads on the inside to keep those strong jaws from marring the furniture you attach them to. The flexibility of the neck is excellent. It’s easy to position the lamp just where you want it, and it stays there with no sagging. The settings for different light temperatures and brightnesses provide all the versatility you could ask for in a reading lamp and more. These factors would also make them very useful for craft work. I feel like I’ve gotten more than my money’s worth with these lamps. They’re great!

Works well
I am using this in my home office as a keyboard light in the evenings/early mornings.The brightness and color buttons are nice to configure the light just the way I like it.I’d prefer the power button to be more clearly separated from the rest of the buttons. I like to turn the light on/off without looking at the control, so it can be easy to accidentally press one of the other buttons. However, over time I’ve learned the feel of the control and most of the time it’s not an issue.The support arm to position the light holds position quite well.The mounting clip seems very solidly made and holds strongly. Looks like it would clamp onto something up to just over 2 inches thick.I’d buy it again.

I noticed my pedicurist used a different version of this brand, portable light, so ordered the reading light version. It works very well, love the different levels and qualities of light available. Easy to use, stays clipped in to thick headboard without scratching it.

Bright Focused Light
This lamp is very easy to use. The buttons are clear and the light temperature and intensity are as described. The only thing that I have an issue with is the gooseneck. When clamped on the headboard, the neck will not stay upright; it immediately sags to a 45 degree angle. Also, the clamp can slip, depending on the width of the headboard; mine is not very thick. However, since I have a four-poster bed, I can wrap the lamp around the post and it maintains its position. It is an extremely focused light and the rest of the room is very dim; in fact, I used it on the lowest intensity and it was easily bright enough to read by. As I said, the only thing is the neck, so I’m keeping it!

Droopy
Its nice, decent quality good clip. It just has problems where it can not support its own weight, it droops really easily and it makes it hard to steady the light. Additionally, the controls are not obvious and the brightness setting doesnt give a good idea of how high or low it goes. Overall, not a bad product but a bit dissapointing.

Perfect bedside lamp
This item was much more substantial and high-quality than expected. I have had two previous similar products fail within a year because of the electronics in the controller failing. The switch on this unit is clearly more substantial, and I expect it will be more robust and long lived.

Droopy neck– lamp will not remain in any position I put it in.
Do you see the product picture? The lamp I received can’t even do that.The light will droop over into my lap, no matter how I tried to work with the flexible metal neck– it’s too flexible and won’t hold any position it is put in.Returning for another brand.

When attaching the lamp to a vertical headboard of a bed the position of the lamp is not so easy to set, it doesn’t stay by itself in the set position, so we needed to lean it against the wall to hold in the right position. When attaching to a table or horizontal surface it works perfectly.
