Itâs a 3-way, but the high and medium donât have much change. We use the lowest setting. Itâs in the hallway and doesnât need to be bright. But we like it and it looks nice.

A great little lamp!
I really like this lamp. I put it in my guestroom next to the bed. The outlet for charging I phones is very handy. It is easy to turn on and off and it fits nicely in the guest bedroom that has a country decor.

Total pain to assemble
Overall, I like this light. Simple and straight forward. It is corded and has a pull chain at the light mechanism to turn it on. It is old school enough to be able to turn it on while half asleep. It is bright enough to read by, but not much. If it is close to your shoulder, you’re good to go. If it’s on the night table beside you, you’ll need more light.This light would be fabulous on a tall table behind the couch. The amount of warm light would be perfect without being glaringly bright.The reason I knocked 2 stars off was that I was unable to screw the base to the wooden stand without crossing the threads. It made for a crooked lamp. I didn’t force it but kept trying to seat the threads properly. I just couldn’t do it. I had to ask my husband to help as his hands are a lot stronger than mine. After he fussed with it for several minutes, he was able to get it to thread properly.Had this been designed better and manufactured with better materials, this could have been avoided.I recommend this lamp for how it functions and looks. I do not recommend if you don’t have access to strong hands and patience.
