Great product for running in series…Excellent support from manufacturer.
Let me first say that Nexillumi has fantastic customer service and that drives the 5-star rating more than anything else.As for the product, here goes.The short version… Overall this is a solid LED light strip that have some features that stand out above the competition. I highly recommend this for long runs where you need the strips to go in series. Colors are bright and distinct and the remote is adequate. Wish it had Alexa integration and I would also recommend using additional mounting clips if installing on anything other than clean glass or plastic surface.The “long” review:What stands out on this product is the fact that these include a controller that can handle placing all 3 strips in series covering the full 100 feet. Go check the descriptions of just about every other LED strip and specifically look for that question in the Q&A section and they will most likely say no. Well.. this one specifically says YES. This is really important for those that can’t run lines in 3 different directions from a central spot.My 100ft kit did come with a faulty controller (for some reason it just could not turn on the “green”) which i didn’t discover until after hanging the lights and I initially was going to flip out…but a single email to Nexillium and I had a package with a full replacement in my hands in less than 48 hours. So…you will be covered if anything goes wrong.. I can attest to that.Only complaints (minor) are the lack of Alexa support and the short line-of-site range of the remote. The app does give much better range and can get around line of site, but still limited. You can also add limited Alexa functionality (on/off voice control) by plugging in through a smart plug which is a decent enough workaround.

Good product and great customer service!
After yet another year of my traditional led Christmas lights needing work I decided to try something new and I am so pleased! I’ve had the majority up for a couple weeks now and had no issues! I do think I can see a little dimming as you get further away from the plug but it isn’t enough to bother me. As others have mentioned the included remote is a little junky but the app is what I prefer anyhow so I’m not bothered. I ended up being a little short after my first order and ordered another set. When it came it was a different style strip. Connectors, spacing, etc. I contacted the seller and they said they upgraded to a new style but after explaining that I already had the majority installed they sent me a set of the old style so I could finish! I was so relieved and grateful. 10/10 reccomend!

Awesome lights & amazing customer service
I received my lights in October. I didnât put them up till after Thanksgiving for Christmas. I noticed last week that only 4 feet of the hundred feet were lighting up. I reached out to the company and explain to them. They asked me to take a picture and I said I would within the next 24 hours when I got home. Before I could even take a picture of the issue which I think was from the person that hung them up Iâm not sure I was Checking my email today (the next day after I emailed them) they had already replied before I sent the picture and said that a new set was in the mail. Sending me a brand new set and said keep the old set. I thought I could get one of those things where you cut it and join it together but they said thatâs not possible because it makes it not waterproof anyway, I thought that was the best customer service Iâve ever received from anybody that I ordered from on Amazon. Thank you so much. The lights are amazing. I could use the remote control or the app on my phone from inside my house to control the lights probably 75 feet away. The colors and the controls and the DIY where you can make your own color combos is cool, like you can change it for each holiday or season to match and theyâre very easy to hang up plus They stick really well. I definitely recommend ordering from this company and I will be ordering some more again.

Dont use outdoors, Soldering breaks in cold weather
Updated review, Dec 2023Bought these Nov 2022 for permanent outdoor holiday lights on my grandparents house. Installed ~200ft around the perimeter of the eaves, at the top edge under the overhang where they are well protected from weather, even though they are waterproof. Put up on a nice 50+ degree day, installation was quick and easy.Less than a month later, half the lights went out on the east side of the house, found a defect at one of the non-cuttable soldering points. Removed a small 12″ section and spliced a replacement, only to find that there were two more sections that also failed.By new years day, the other half of the lights on the west side were out. Had to splice in two places to fix.One year later (2023), every 6ft on the west side of the house required a patch, each splice only fixed about a 6-7ft section, then there was another separation/break in the soldering connections.They may be waterproof, but are not designed well enough for a winter in lower Michigan. Am going to have to likely replace the entire installation next year with another brand.Original review, Dec 2022:Overall, I really liked this set. Adheres well; thick silicone overlay for waterproofing; quick and easy installation on a 50° fall day in Nov.2 wks later we had a subfreezing storm with high winds. Above one window the lights stopped working mid-string. The soldered connection (the only section you can’t cut) broke in two separate places on two separate strings.Because we bought 200ft to install and used 198ft; I had to order another box to fix this section. Ordered shorter length since it was just to be for repairs and the 50ft box sent was not the same as the 100ft (no RGB, not cuttable, diff distance between nodules). Ordered another 100ft box; repaired the first section only to find that a second break happened on the next string section. I know I was careful during install to not kink or fold the strip; so I definitely recommend *not* installing these in winter.Side note: because we were powering 200ft (100 each direction from the power module) I upgraded to a more powerful power supply and led transmitter module, as the power cable that comes with the set is not strong enough to light up 100ft in sequence without significant power loss tiwards the end.

Love them and they were pretty easy for my husband to put up. Two person job when thereâs snow on the ground to help keep them dry. Working great so far. Been up for a few weeks. We did use a heat gun to warm the eves trough since it was -5 Celsius that day.

Not worth the money, half the leds on both “cords” have stopped working on some colours. Seller has failed to respond to numerous emails about the problem. Save your money.

For those of You that are having problems with the double sided tapeâ¦.. Use a heat gun on low setting o warm up the LED strip as as you install them. I installed almost 200 feet of LED without any of them coming off. The colours are bright and there are many different modes o choose from
