LOVES this clock!
This clock is so adorable and charming. It looks very well made. Easy to set up. There are volume controls for the âcuckooâ. Itâs not very loud and you can also mute it. The clock has a light sensor so it wonât cuckoo at night. But the best part is that itâs almost completely silent. There is no audible âtick tockâ sound.

Nice item
Returned one cuckoo clock as it had no bird provided for the clock. Not sure why it’s considered a cuckoo clock without a bird. Maybe because of the sound of the music put out. Although me myself returned a clock which had no bird and purchased one similar that had a bird with batteries not included and don’t have to wind instructions available. How to set clock and volume of sound of the cuckoo

I’m cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs AND THIS CLOCK!
For years, I have wanted a cuckoo clock but would talk myself out of it because they can be rather pricey. I was afraid that going cheaper would sacrifice quality. FALSE!!! I love this clock. It was well priced and the craftsmanship is exquisite. I’m not going to waste time by naming it’s features that sold me on this clock, (see product description). But I will say the setup is crazy easy….if you can hang a picture…you can do it! Takes about 5-7 minutes to attach a few parts that are packaged detached from the clock and install batteries. That’s it. If you have wanted a quality cuckoo clock at a reasonable price, this is an excellent first purchase. Also, and perhaps most importantly, it keeps perfect time. That little bird is always on time and shows up every hour ð

Great Cuckoo Clock
This Cuckoo Clock has been running perfectly now for 2 months. Never misses a beat! Love the little bird and cuckoo every hour except when it is night time and then stays silent till morning. My grand daughters loves it and wait to hear it cuckoo on the hour. Would buy another one if i had more room to put it on another wall. Very easy to set up and the quality for the price was right on. Don’t hesitate to get one!!!

Coo coo clock
The clock is cute but not worth the price. The chain for the weight broke off and the bird wouldn’t come out. It’s also too small.

a great cuckoo clock choice
This absolutely looks like the Black Forest Cuckoo clock we used to have. It runs on batteries and the little bird cuckooing is so cute! It doesn’t cuckoo on the quarter or half hour, only the top of the hour. It also takes a little getting used to, because it has a cuckoo echo. You have two cuckoos for each hour…one is an echo

I received this as a birthday gift from my mother. Very easy to setup wooden cuckoo clock. The door, clock face, and clock hands are plastic along with the bird but the rest is crafted nicely with wood. It has a nice gentle ticking sound. There are adjustments on the side of the clock for volume (high, low, off). It was on high when I took the video. I didn’t play with the push button yet or tried turning it off. The time is keeping well, and the cuckoo bird sings every hour according to the time. When the door opens and the bird pops out, there is a water stream sound at first followed by some other birds chirping before the cuckoo hops up and down to sing. It does have an echo after each cuckoo but I find that charming. It is the sound of a real recorded cuckoo bird in nature and itâs wonderful to bring it into the home. It takes two D size batteries, I think one is for the clock and the other for the bird and swinging pendulum leaf. I thought it would startle my cat but she seems to like it too. I like the light sensor feature. When the room is dark it keeps silent and the bird âgoes to sleepâ. I think in the summer when day breaks earlier I will shut it off so it doesn’t wake me at 4am. Its very user friendly and I had no troubles setting it up. I really enjoy this clock and if you get one I hope your setup goes as smooth as mine.Just a couple tips for setting it up. Open the door of the bird and let it pop out. The bird is protected with an elastic band and some wrap. I opened the door and let the bird out when I put the batteries in. I opened the back and took off the tape to insert the two D batteries. I hung the clock up before hanging all the decorations at the bottom. If the pendulum doesnât swing, try tilting the clock it this way and that for gravity to even out, and give it a gentle starting tap to encourage it. I forgot to mention, to change the time, I just use my fingers to push the hands in the clock face.

It was interesting reading all the reviews and I can certainly relate to the negative issues. Yes the roman numeral for 4 should be IV not IIII. Instructions are written is less than perfect english. Someone complained about the pendulum not moving. Mine was “locked” behind a plastic pin (probably to avoid shipping damage), but it was easy to “unlock it”. Yes, it is a little tricky to get the sound matched with the time, especially since mine came with 2 sets of instructions that conflict with each other. One says “do not move the hour hand manually” and the other instructions say you should do that to set the time. Which is correct! I’m still not sure I’ve got the time synchronized properly, but part of that is because I’ve been counting the cuckoo and it’s echo (silly me!). At the next hour I will count again. So, mine basically works and is very good value for money. I’d be really pissed with the niggly faults if I’d paid a lot more money!

If you are looking for a cuckoo that looks great without all the maintenance this is what you want. Excellent reproduction, all wood and keeps perfect time from day 1. No need to rewind or reset the time every day. Just put in the batteries and it’s good to go for probably a year. Cuckoo sounds on the half and every hour and goes silent at night if you want it to. Other than the imitation weights it looks just like my Black Forest antiques.

The clock worked for about one year. After that, the hour hand stopped working. It just falls down. The cuckoos frequently do not match the hour despite resetting it again and again. Poor quality. Would not purchase again.
