Wakes up the hard of hearing
I love this alarm clock. Easy to set up with clear instructions. I recently got hearing aids due my hearing loss and tried various clocks to wake up. The other clocks did not work like I needed them to. This clock is a beast. It has a strobe light to start with and the sound and volume wakes me up. This clock can be fine tuned with the tone and volume of sounds so you don’t wake the neighbors. I love the projection feature as I can look at my ceiling to see what time it is. This clock oddly does not scare me when it turns on and actually wakes me up. It has charging ports and an option to add on a bed shaker thing. The cord is not super short unlike most alarms on the market. I really love this clock!!!!

Very loud alarm clock.
Great for people who have a hard time waking up. Not very convenient to make new alarms, especially if you flip days and nights. Process is slightly annoying. Overall okay alarm clock.

Buy the original! This one is not the best for heavy sleeper
While this is significantly easier to operate than the old hockey puck looking model, it is NOT THE SAME as the original. I am a TRULEY heavy sleeper. I have videos of my dogs howling at 85 decibels and me sleeping through it. When my original sonic bomb broke, I upgraded to this one. For the last 2 years, I couldnt figure our why I was having such trouble getting up in the mornings. Supposedly the sound is exactly the same between this and the original so I kept buying other alarms to use in conjunction with this. Sure sometimes it woke me up, but not consistently. Well my dogs spill dr pepper in it last week so I had to buy another. I didn’t want to spend the extra $20 for this model since it wasn’t working for me as well as it used to anymore. Total blessing in disguise! Used the original again for the first time this morning. I about fell out of bed, and my dogs are extremely offended. This is the first time I’ve woken up immediately in 2 years. If you’re truly a heavy sleeper, do not buy this version. Get the original sonic bomb

Loud!
I’m deaf in one ear and have the tendency to be a heavy sleeper. I used to set two alarms and hope I heard at least one of them. This alarm is super loud, so I don’t have to rely on 2 alarms. The radio isn’t the best, but it works

An Alarm Clock With Bluetooth
You can charge the phone in the USB port and/or connect to the Bluetooth to listen to music/podcasts/videos. It is very lightweight and is powered by plugging into the outlet, but it does have some type of battery backup, although I have not used that feature. The nice features are the alarm is VERY loud (can be heard all over the two-story apartment), with a super bright light, and the Bluetooth easily connects with paired devices. The drawbacks for me are that I wish the volume could increase, and the sound quality is very standard. There are a lot of buttons and instructions to operate this unit, and I wish it were a bit more simple since this is overall a simple clock with alarms and Bluetooth. I wish it had a radio. It just seems so unnecessarily complicated. I feel this is a basic unit that serves it’s purpose.

Finally an alarm the works and is easy to set!
I have erratic sleep patterns and eventually I crash. On those occasions I still have to get up. I have been through so many alarm clocks in the last couple of years, literally purchasing a couple at a time to try them out. This one, and, yep I ordered two different ones in same order, does work! I am awake when this goes off! If I try to hit the snooze, I do not sleep through the alarm! While I have not tried the vibration mechanism, Iâm sure it is equally effective. Iâm happy to not need it! This is a keeper! And I love the projection feature. I usually have a glass or books on the night stand. Now all I have to do is look up to see the time, no more moving stuff out of the way.
