This soap kit ended up being a great gift for my daughter for her birthday! Obviously make sure you follow all included directions to ensure the best results and best outcomes for your soaps, but I was surprised with the ease and quality output of the soap making process. The bright colors that are included made it so much fun for my daughter as well as all the scents and fun molds for her soaps. Being that my daughter was six, I obviously did have to help her throughout the entire process and would definitely recommend an adult helping anybody under the age of 9 or 10. But, I would definitely recommend this as a gift or fun activity to do along with your kids and make washing their hands fun during flu season!

So the wife n little one made a unicorn out of the soap and it came out pretty amazingly the process is pretty fun to do with the kids. Sizes are pretty good, quality is surprisingly amazing and colors come out amazingly.

I bought this item for two girls: a four year old and a six year old.Pros: they loved the look of the box, they were excited about the sparkles and the unicorn, they enjoyed starting the activityCons: this kit requires a lot of adult help and supervision, definitely not very suitable for the ages I mentioned, directions say how many cubes of soap for each mold but they werenât enough (ex: unicorn didnât have full length legs because the soap didnât reach fully), mix dries very quickly so you have to work very fast, colors arenât very vibrant unless you use TONS of the dye, kids lost interest a little ways in because there wasnât much for them to do, the unicorn horn fell apart after it was driedTakeaway: not appropriate for 4-6 year olds but thought Iâd give it a try, too hard to do multiple colors in one mold, dries super quick and becomes lumpy in the mold.

This was a great activity with my five year old. Adult supervision is needed to microwave the soap and make sure they pour into the molds safely, but she enjoyed mixing different colors, adding scents and a little sparkle. The soap that came out of it seems good and sudsy as well.It comes with 3 molds but we had leftover soap for extra soaps.

Pros:once completed this made bath time so much fun!got kids away from screens and allowed for some creativity and allowed the children to work together to mold and play with the hands.cons:messy.definitely need to set aside some space, and I would suggest putting down a garbage bag to catch any extra soap or if you have a large bathroom counter may doing the activity in the bathroom so you aren’t having to clean up afterwards.it is created for younger kids (we did it for 6 and 7) they enjoyed it, the 7 year old did get a little bored.
