Well made blanket

I find the pattern cute. The color is more a parchment or almond I guess- pale but a bit too dark to just be called an offwhite, and leaning toward yellow. I’d hoped for more of a taupe or unbleached cotton color.There were numerous picks (is that the right word? threads that stick out in the middle of the cloth) after just washing it a couple times. Then as soon as it was on the bed all the cats paraded across to check it out and they all snagged their claws in it and tripped dramatically giving me a big guilt trip, which was rather funny. So it will be used only under another blanket, never exposed to the cats. Both to prevent paw sprains and to prevent the blanket becoming ugly from too much damage.I wanted something heavy but still breathable. This is ok. Not really heavy, but not light either just average.I got a king size for my queen bed assuming it would shrink. At this price you expect something really flimsy. But nope! It actually didn’t shrink. I even put it in the dryer extra long to try but it didn’t do anything. So now I think I need to hem it because I keep tripping in the extra that hangs down the sides of the bed. Don’t be like me- get the proper size!

I was very pleasantly surprised when this blanket arrived as it is very nice-looking, had zero odor and is solid—-it does not have any of the open-weave areas that some of the lighter, cotton blankets have. Nice that there is nothing to catch & snag on. It is a great medium weight for summertime or for winter when combined with another heavier blanket. It is soft & smooth. The online picture (calling it “tan”) looks more a brown color to me but in reality the actual blanket is definitely more gold than brown..The packaging says the size is 90×90 inches. I carefully measured it before washing and it was 88×92 inches. After washing & drying on low it measured 87×90 inches. No pilling whatsoever and it looked perfect fresh out of the dryer, with zero wrinkling. Fits perfectly on my queen bed with just enough to tuck underneath at the bottom & hangs down about 15 inches on each side. I am very happy with it!

Love the color weight and size.However there are some irregular weavings in the blanket. Think it will work okay, but it’s not attractive and flawed for sure. I always wash items before use and was hoping the threads would realign in the wash, but no.

Nice color, feels soft and cozy, washed well, true to size. Keep you warm at night but not hot, which is so important for someone going through menopauses. So glad I found this one.

I like this summer blanket. It looks lovely on my bed, is warm enough to take off any chill but not hot forduring the heat of the summer and it washes nicely. Yes there is a lot of lint after washing the 1st time but being cotton it was to be expected.
