Just the right size.
I really like the size of the bulbs. Not too big and not too small. Produces a soft light and the remote control is great. I donât have to get out of bed to turn them off. Great value.

We bought these to out on our backyard swingset for night time usage. They work just as we hoped and the remote control is super helpful. The only downside is we feel like the remote needs to be super close to work.

Perfect for ambiance– not enough to light up a dinner table
We bought these for a college dorm room. They use AA batteries, so they were perfect for the top bunk. The warm light and dimmer setting are great for creating ambiance. The remote control is extremely convenient, and they easily fit back into the box for transportation.We have also used them in our kitchen for themed restaurant nights (Italian and Japanese). Here, we found that they weren’t bright enough to light up the table, and we had to supplement with candles.

Cute, soft like, smelly.
I’ll be honest I haven’t hung these up yet because I’ve had to leave them air out in a place I don’t have to walk my face by. If the phrase “plastic bead curtain” or “party beads” brings up a smell in your mind – that is what these smell like. I got them to go in my closet because there’s no light and I thought it would be cute but they smell so I haven’t put them in there yet. I’ve had them airing out – for 3 months. That being said I don’t think they would light up my closet enough. I bought the warm light to not go blind with the white light but they’re probably not bright enough for cute closet lighting. They’re definitely good for general mood/dim lighting so they’re going to go on our patio out back. Or somewhere.

Excellent quality and not too heavy!
I wanted a waterproof and battery powered string of fairy lights for my small Christmas tree that didnât get hot like some of those smaller wire fairy lights do. These were the perfect set. Excellent price point, I love the remote and it works from a pretty far distance (over 5 ft away). I found myself only using the solid light setting, but now the other settings (there are 8) are slowly becoming my favorite including the slow blink! Great set of lights that only need 3 batteries, I will probably use them outdoors after the holidays!

I bought 2 sets, one worked and one didn’t
I was very excited when these arrived as I don’t have an electrical outlet I can plug my outdoor Christmas lights into on the front of my house. The first set was packaged nicely and wrapped with a twist tie to keep the lights in place when removed from the box. The remote was on top and wrapped in a plastic sleeve with a plastic tab inserted to be removed from where the battery is connected to the remote. The first set went up and worked perfectly. The lights are bright and they flash in the pattern I chose. I haven’t used the timer function as it stated the lights will work for 8 hours (it is dark for longer than 8 hours and I want the lights on as long as it is dark). The second set didn’t work at all. The box looked like it had been opened and the lights were just shoved back in. Also, there was no remote for the second set. When I pulled the set out it looked like the lights had been wired wrong from the factory (I’m not sure if they just keep sending the same set out hoping someone will keep it or what). I will update with the return process and longevity on the set I kept. (That being said I would rather have had the lights replaced but these were the last 2 sets available when I bought them.)

Favorite lights!
My second purchase. I love these lights! I use them on all our camp trips. they are a nice addition and add some ambiance. I like all the different settings and that they arenât overly bright. These lights are pretty sturdy too, they have survived a lot of weather conditions over the years.

Actually zero stars
I ordered these lights to use on a camping trip. I checked them before we left on our trip, and a second time before we strung them up, then once we had them up, they wouldnât work. We tried everything and they didnât work. Complete JUNK!!
